The Solution for AGV Forklift Combined with Mobile Racking System

This warehouse has four areas, let's take the first area as an example. This area is 23 meters long, 32 meters wide, and covers an area of approximately 730 square meters.Static racking is used on both sides, and a complete rail system is deployed. There are a total of 8 columns of mobile racking in the middle, each with 3 layers and a load capacity of 4 tons per layer.The side of the mobile column is equipped with anti-collision guardrails. The mobile racking can move in single column or in multi column, and the system directly controls it according to WMS instructions.

Two types of AGV forklifts are needed for internal storage and retrieval of goods: AGV stacker and AGV transfer vehicle.

The AGV transfer vehicle transports goods from the production area to the waiting buffer zone in the warehouse through instructions allocated by WMS. The AGV stacker transfers the goods in the waiting buffer zone to the designated storage location in the system. The system also notifies the mobile racking to open the corresponding aisle while issuing instructions to the AGV.The mobile racking instructions and AGV instructions can be synchronized. If there are other AGV stackers passing through the storage route on the transport channel, the avoidance system will be automatically activated to prioritize the completion of the storage operation.

AGV forklifts can accurately locate the assigned storage locations and place pallets into them. Different AGV forklifts are used to complete the outbound and inbound operations of goods to avoid command conflicts. The entire AGV and mobile racking joint system achieves intelligent positioning through laser navigation, and the entire process is coordinated by computer software in the background to ensure accuracy.
